The National Cancer Institute IRCCS Fondazione Pascale will host the special lecture “Gender Oncology”, part of the Multidisciplinary Workshops & Special Lectures 2026 series.
The event will feature Rossana Berardi, President-Elect of the Italian Medical Oncology Association (AIOM), and will be hosted by Alfredo Budillon.
The meeting will take place at the Istituto Nazionale Tumori G. Pascale – Aula R. Cerra.

The international course “From Imaging Biomarkers to Clinical Translation: Inclusion and Equity in Molecular Imaging and AI” will take place on 25 September 2026 at the IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital in Milan.
The event will bring together leading national and international experts to discuss some of the most innovative and pressing topics in Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. The programme will cover a wide range of subjects, including imaging biomarkers, theranostics, regulatory aspects of radiopharmaceuticals, quantitative imaging, and the latest applications of artificial intelligence.
The course aims to foster multidisciplinary discussion on the role of molecular imaging and artificial intelligence in translational research and clinical practice, with particular emphasis on the development and validation of novel imaging biomarkers, quantitative imaging approaches, and theranostic applications. Special attention will be given to the themes of inclusion, equity, and responsible innovation, which are essential to ensuring the effective and sustainable integration of emerging technologies into precision medicine.
